1999 Chevy Monte Carlo Question about the lower intake mani

My car has a problem about the cooling system. I need to add the coolant regularly so I went to check it. They told me that it is gonna cost over 800 to replace the intake manifold gasket since there is a leak there so the coolant is coming out. Can you tell me is that too expensive? Thanks

that is about the going rate these days for that type of work. they should put the new style gaskets on so you won't have the problem again.
