1999 Chevy Monte Carlo oil smells like gas

I noticed when i checked my oil that it smells like gas. I also smell gas when I start it. I also have the check engine light on . I checked the code on the code reader and it says multiple cylinder misfire. I did have a leak in the fuel rail and fixed it. But it still smells like gas in the oil.
