I have a 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo SS with a rebuilt 350 engine with about 8000 miles on it. My engine has been very loud lately and after about 10 minutes of driving it the check engine light comes on. After i cut the car off and restart it, sometimes the engine quiets down a little bit but it is still loud. Is this how the engine is suppose to sound or is there a problem
