i have recently purchased a 1980 chevy monte carlo,not sure if the car has just the original 68000 miles that it shows on the gauge.choke light comes on when i start the car,then when i put it in drive the car seems to not want to accellerate for the first couple of times that i hit the gas while on drive.this morning the car shut off on me as soon as i started to leave the driveway.it shut off on me 4 times before i got down the block then the car started up like normal and drove like nothing was wrong with it.is the choke light always supposed come on when i first start the car?need some advice!!
