Engine Mechanical problem
1972 Chevy Monte Carlo V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
ive got a 72 monte carlo and my friend and i just put a new distributor in but for some reason the car keeps backfiring it doesnt start the greatest either, it did with the old distributor, the only time i can get it to start with this new distributor is if i keep pumping on the gas but it idles really slow and then dies if i take my foot off the gas i think it may be the ammount of fuel going to the motor but its a 750cfm 4 barrel carb and we've tried tuning the carb so it'll stop but it just doesnt
