the crankshaft pulley turns when i try to take off center bolt. Is this the only bolt that needs to come off? How do i take off this pully?

Unless you can find a way to prevent the engine from turning, your going to need a high torque impact gun.

I can give you a trick to get it off but it won't help getting it tight enough going back on. You'll need a strong impact gun

center bolt does NOT get removed to remove crank pulley...

That could be true but here is what the service manual says about it. Important: If the engine is in the vehicle, the crankshaft timing sprocket bolt (2) must be removed. The crankshaft timing pulley can then be removed. It is not necessary to loosen the crankshaft timing sprocket bolt at the center, if the engine is out of the vehicle.
