When braking hard I get a pulsating feeling from the front left corner. I pulled the rotor on that side and it looks surprisingly good. It is not warped and the surface is smooth, no pits or gouges. Any suggestions on where else to look?

A brake rotor needs checked for run-out (warp) with a mic. You won't be able to see it. Also, are you sure it is the front left and not the rear or the right?

Let me know.
