2003 Chevy Malibu 2003 Chevy Malibu AC Control Switch

Please advise on how to clean or replace the ac control switch. goes off constantly, flickers, Had replaced once under warranty, Bad again, no more warranty, Can I take apart and clean ???
Any instructions would be greatly appreciated.
