2001 Chevy Malibu Engine runs rough

I just noticed with heavy rains that the engine runs rough during wet weather. it will run smooth after about 5 miles of driving. I noted it does not have a cap and rotor but a coil module could the weather have an influnce in a hair line crack as the old distributor caps? I see it should last 100,000 miles?

Sounds like a classic plug arcing wire problem. IF you mist the wires with water when the problem is not happening and can cause it to happen, that should confirm it. If it is dark, you may be able to see the arcs...not necessarily though.
