The AC will be on for a period of time and then the AC button light will go out and no AC. Switching fan speeds will cause the AC light to come back on foe awhile and then turn off. Switch the fan speed again and the AC comes back on. AC seems to stay on longer at lower fan speeds. What do I need to fix or replace?

I am having and have had this problem in the past. I took my car to the dealer the first time and they told me that the electronic board was shorted out and they replaced it. Now two years later, it has gone bad again.
