When driving to work this morning, my cars temperature was sporadically climbing to dangerous levels, accompanied by a squealing coming from under the hood. Each time the squealing stopped the temperature returned to normal. Also, I cranked the heater and nothing but outside (not warmed) air came through? There does seem to be a slight coolant leak but from what I could see when I stopped (it was dark) I've still got a good amount of coolant running through. Any suggestions?

Hi
Squealing maybe belt slipping or fan motor need see oif cooling fans are working. Also the thermostat might be faulty. As for leak take look when you can and post back.
