1999 Chevy Malibu poor gas mileage

For the last few weeks have noticed a drastic change in mileage. I used to get 126 miles on half a tank of gas. Now it's pushing 80.
I added fuel injector cleaner and that helped some.
Right now the tank reads 3/4's empty and 136 miles on the trp odometer.
Can you give me direction on what to do, please.
Could it be that the fuel injectors are clogged because I don't use it enough?

how is the car running? rough or good, it may be that you just need a tune-up.

No Tim.......don't need a tune up. Already had that done. The car runs well....no sputtering or hesitation. Tires have proper air.
