1998 Chevy Malibu Lifter Noise

I recently had an engine replaced (3 Months) with a remanufactured engine and this morning when I started the engine I hear a lifter noise. It sounds like one lifter. Do you have any suggestions for correcting the problem?

Note the engine is under warranty but I may be in the middle of the company closing the local repair facility and leasing it to another company.
