I have a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu. If I replace the EGR valve, with the check engine light on, how do I clear the computer to make the check engine light go off. I've already replaced the O2 sensors. The last on my list is the EGR valve. I was told, once I clear the computer, I have to drive it for so many miles before the computer registers everything. Is this true ? And if so, how many miles does it have to be driven ? Thanks for reading my question.
