1997 Chevy Malibu Battery and alternator

Was it working prior to replacement of alternator? If alternator was going bad then it was probably draining the battery as well. Try charging it back up or jump start with another vehicle should charge it back up after it runs for 10 - 15 minutes. Should be okay if battery is not too old and weak.
