1998 Chevy Lumina
I changed my starter and when I hooked the battery back up the car went into auto theft mode. Now when it starts, after a few seconds the car floods out and the anti theft light stays on. The anti theft does not blink on and off it just a solid color. Is there a way around this so my car will start. The chip is still in the key and I made sure it was cleaned. I even tried starting it and then turning it off and waiting for 20 minutes then tried to start it again. But still had the same results.
