i asked you guys about my engine noise that's sounds like a diesel with a little thinking i remembered that all of the oil had been drained from the engine for 4 weeks. so i had to prime the engine. but now only one side of the engine is getting oil. i looked through the oil fill on the valve cover and i could not see any oil flow what did i do wrong now

i have a z34 and the motor is very similar. the only time i saw oil flow in ther was when i was adding it with the motor idling. i dont believe that has anything to do with your diesel sound. if it really sounds like a diesel you make have loose exhaust manifold. combo of a exhaust leak and a rattle.

Did you fill with oil? You may have to remove valve covers.
