Shakes or Wobbles problem

Have a 1997 chevy lumina it will crank but it won't stay on has gas just bought a battery.What could be the problem that my car won't stay on. All lights inside and outside work. When I reach 65mph or more on the expressway the steering starts to shake and also the front of the car.
