1997 Chevy Lumina oil pump

i bought a new oil pump for my lumina and it has a tube with a screen that comes off the side of it... how do you remove it from the old oil pump and put it on the new one?

You need to easily loosen it out and when setting the new one in use a sealer Apply sealer GM P/N 1050026 or equivalent to the new suction pipe
