Transmission problem
1996 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
will the transmission from a 1993 lumina fit/work in my 1996 lumina ls?The engine in my car is a 3.4 L DOHC V.6.The 1993 transmission has already been removed from the car(its on a shelf) so I can't tell what model or engine size it was taken from.It looks like the one we just took out of my 96',but...the only other thing I have to go on is the word of the auto dismantler who says...it should fit.He does give a money-back deal,but it's alot of work...if it's not going to work!If the 1993 won't work,what will?
