I have a strong running lumina z 34 3.4 engine with a manual trans, every so often does not want to idle, have replaced many components , such as idle air control, fuel pump, altenater, batt, plugs ,wires ,egr valve. most times when this happens I'll have made a short trip to the store and when I come out , the engine which normally pops right off , takes an extra crank of the starter and then will not idle, and I have to keep my foot on the throttle to keep the car running. then on the way to the repair garage the problem resolves just as I pull into the driveway of the repair garage , and the car idles soothly. It shows no codes, and the problem may not return for another 3 weeks. during these no idle periods the car runs great above idle, no hesitation or balking. So what do you think?
