Hi Gino82109, Thank you for the donation. I am not sure which engine variant you have and replacement requires the oil pan to be dropped. It leads from the accelerator throttle linkage to the transmission. Before you replace the cable , check that it is not binding nor broken and perform adjustment first. An out of adjustment TV cable can cause harsh or erratic shifting. Here are some diagrams for you to understand the system.

Use the 3rd diagram for adjustment. 1. Engine must be off. Depress metal readjust tab on cable adjuster (located at cable support bracket on engine) and hold it in this position. 2. Move cable housing slider (away from throttle lever) until it stops and is completely against fitting. Release readjust tab. See Fig. 3 . 3. Rotate throttle lever (by hand) to its full throttle position. Slider must move (ratchet) toward lever when lever is rotated to its full throttle position. Check cable for sticking and binding. Diagrams are found in Mitchell1, an online data provider. There are a few types of transmission used and I would need the trans model to get the correct information.

For the diagram shown, the modulator valve is where the vacumn gauge is attached, it is blocked from view. There should be a vacumn hose attached to it. Before replacing the modulator, test it for vacumn leakages to ensure the diaphragm is good.
