Golf diesel engine in a Geo metro

It's hard to find a diesel golf, but the engines are pretty easy to find, is it possible to modify the engine to fit in a Geo/Chevy Metro? And does anyone know how much that would cost?

no offense but i wouldn't even try. since when has a geo metro been worth that kinda time and money. im no expert but i can imagine it would take a lot of modifcation under the hood. persue it if you'd like but you'd better have a fat bank account.
