according to many other problems my car is having. it makes this grinding noise when i let the clutch go too fast on first gear or even let it go slowly but push hard on gas. the noise also comes from second gear but i couln't really tell and it also has a really difficult time to shift. . it is not as smooth as other cars i drove. This was going on before my clutch or whatever went out. what is the problem, transmission or the clutch.
thank you

It seems like its grinding gears and you probably should look into a new clutch but you have to have the timing set exactly right or its gonna be bad

sounds like its the input shaft bearing syncro rings if not more in the transmission and the throwout bearing 'pressure plate' friction disc ' flywheel resurface...good luck"
