Hello - I recently had my transmission replaced but have noticed small oil residue in my driveway. I took it to a different service place - they inspected it and told me that I had a leak around my transmission cooler line. My question is - what damage can occur by not "plugging" this leak? Also, what is the general cost of repair?

Depends on if they repair the existing line or replace it.Either way it should be around $100 or less.If you let it get too low,it could damage the trans internally

When you say get too low - you mean the transmission fluid right? Or is there some kind of cooler fluid? Also - when I had the fluid level checked, the technician said that it wasn't low at all
