The Heating element on the rear windshield doesn't work! The indicator light comes on when I press it, but the window doesn't heat heat up.

This is most likely due to the element wire that runs through the window has an open in it. In other words, the wire is broken and the circuit is not completed any longer.
I am attaching the testing and the process to replace the rear window which is what is needed if this proves out.
