How do you change your coolant sensor, or where can I find out how to go about doing so?

I have a diagram with the simple instructions and location of the ect,(engine coolant temp sensor)

Where is the Engine coolent sensor located?

engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor is located near the coolant outlet, on left rear of engine.
