2002 Chevy Impala power locks

there is no power in my locks and i cant seem to get in the fuse box.
i recently orderd a keyless remote to see if will fix the problem.
will a missing keyless entry be the cause of no power or do i need to get a new switch?

it could be a bad switch or a bad body control module. You should have it checked out by an experienced mechanic.

ok.. i programmed the new fob remote. my alarm works but the doors wont lock. thank you.

i forgot to say that theres no power anywhere not even on the passengers door to lock and unlock..what kind of mechanic? it most likely what you said it is..;(.its going to cost a alot hu...
