my gas gauge goes crazy when the gas gets low an will go to full sometime then to nothing then back an forth

Sounds like your fuel gage sending unit is malfuntioning.
It is inside the gas tank and part of the fuel pump module.

that is for sure what it is. Fuel level gauge. They go bad all the time
