2001 Chevy Impala car shakes

is there a check engine light on. your engine maybe missing or does it feel like something in the suspension

Yes the check engine light is on and I took it to auto zone they said it needs a new EGR valve. I was just wonder how much is it gon cost to get it fix and as far as the car shaking I think its the suspension because I change the brakes and it still was shaking a little but now it shakin alot but even worst when I press on the brakes.

what code are you geting. when you replaced the brakes, did you replace the rotors and clean the front side of the hubs

I dont remember the code but I remember it saying EGR and no I didnt change the rotors like last summer my girl slid on ice and hit the passager side front tire on the sidewalk and ever since then the car been wobbling but I will change the rotor just to make sure

check the code again. i think if the egr code is p1404 there is a reprogram that your local dealer can do for it.

okay thanks do you know how much it probably cost to fix the suspension. Also do you know anything about mazda 626 my girl has one and when she turns her make a popping sound.

not sure off hand. call and they can give you a estimate. as for your girls car, check and see if the lower ball joints are loose, sway bar links are ok, or possible the cv joints in the axles are going bad.

I had a shaking problem with my 01 Impala and I got front new tire and it stop the shaking while im driving but it didnt stop when I start to come to a stop I change the front and back brake and it still shakes as i come to a stop
