the car was a gift,im having problem were it wont start. starter,battery,alternator is good. factory radio has been replace with aftermarket radio.is it true that thats causing it not to start? i was told that the factory radio needs to be connected to its original harness but install in the trunk because the radio's wiring sends signal to ignition. please i need help i've been stranded at 1 am. until i get lucky and the car starts.

The radio has nothing to do with it,Does the motor spin over when you turn the key?if not then either the starter went or the starter relay/fuse is bad,if it does spin but won't fire,either the fuel pump went or you're losing a signal from the crank sensor. either way you have to get it to a repair shop.

Depending on which motor you have,it could be behind the balancer if you have a 3.8L,If you have a 3.4 there could be 2-3 crank sensors...1- behind the balancer...2-below the intake plenum...3- on the lower r/hand side of the block.You're better off gettin it to a shop.
