i had my brakes replaced less then 6 months ago. when i hit the brakes lightly my whole car and steering wheel shake, but not when i hit them harder.

take it back to where they did the work. they should be under warranty. if not have them check the lateral runout on all 4 rotors. also check for rust spots on them
