Electrical problem
1966 Chevy Impala V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
My car died on me while driving. The Generator light went on and engine stalled. Lights were dim. It wouldnt start. I took the battery and alternator to be tested. Alternator was fine battery was dead and wouldnt hold a charge. I bought a new battery and it was fine. I was driving at night a few days later and the same thing happened. I dont know if it had anything to do with the lights being on, I had them on the first time too. Thats why I'm think its something electrical or charging system. What else can I check to get this resolved. I have a rebuilt 350 in this car, not original 327. Electronic ignition. Can someone help me here?
