2006 Chevy HHR key stuck in ignition

need to have your trans floor shifter control assy replaced, there is a plastic contact switch in there that wears out fast. the cost is around $380 to have dearlers do it. if you don't have extended warranty on it. the parts are 155.00 the dealer labor 176.00 just had mine done. you can also get the key out by the plug under the steering col. just remove the plug stick your finger up in there push the button and the key will come out!!!!!!!!
