2004 Chevy Express Wipers stay on

The windshield wipers will not shut off. I have pulled the fuse under the hood to get it to stop. Is there a module just for the wipers or is it combined with some thing else. Or could it be the switch in the steering column?

Some customers may comment that the windshield wipers continue to operate when the wiper switch is in the "off" position. This condition may be intermittent.

Correction
Replace the wiper motor cover.
