This is the Weirdest . . . Has anyone experienced an intermittent coolant leak? I lost about 2 quarts of coolant the other day - drooling down front of engine and frame. Removed air cleaner and air intake ductwork to get a better view of top of engine - could not see what it was although it did NOT look like it was coming from the water pump. Dripping was predominantly from the area of the alternator.
Put it back together in preparation for a visit to the dealer and there was no more leak!!! I did NOT tighten any clamps or bolts! Checked my coolant tank and refilled and no leaks there. Has anyone ever experienced an intermittent coolant leak?
