Code P0651

This code tells us that we have an issue with the 5-volt reference circuit.

This 5-volt circuit is what is used to have the sensor return a signal to the control module so that the control module knows what the sensor is reading. In other words, 5 volts are supplied to different sensors and the sensor returns a lower voltage between .5 and 4.5 volts and the control module knows what this voltage corresponds to.
