2006 Chevy Equinox 39,000 miles
My key is getting stuck in my ignition, the mechanic cleaned and lubed it up. It worked good for a day but now its not working again. I can take the key out of the ignition while the car is running. Thats never a good sign! One mechanic told me the tumbler and key needs to be changed and also would have to reprogram the car. That is looking costly. another mechanic told me he may just be able to change the tumbler and the springs and just recode the peices. I need help, who is telling the truth???
