This is kind of a project car that I've been working on and I had it running until today. I was installing a floor shifter so I was underneath the car a lot putting in brackets and running cables and such. When I was done the car wouldn't start. And no its not the neutral start I tied up the mechanism. The starter goes and I could always hear the fuel pump come on when I started it but now I can't hear it anymore. Any idea what I might have done to kill the fuel pump?

Power the gray wire on the fuel pump connector directly from the battey if it comes on-check fuel pump fuse and FP relay if it doesn't come on verify that the ground wire is good on the pump
