Corvette Headlights

1992 Corvette - 6 speed - 350 - 47,000 miles - Drive side headlight opens but will not return. I purchased a rebuilt motor (Ecklers) after replacing the orgininal motors bushings. I replaced the driver side bushings and that side is working fine. I could purchase a used headlight (motor and assmebly) for $300 on Ebay however I'm convinced it is something else since the headlight does go up. Any help would be appreciated - by the way I think I can remove, disassemble, and re-assemble my headlights with my eyes closed. Thanks for any help.
