The service engine light comes on and I get a PO300 and a PO400 engine code. I had a head gasket leak and have repaired both heads. the car seems to run fine at idle and while driving. I have been told that the EGR Valve needs to be replaced. How do you know if this is true?
Also, is there any problem running the car on regular unleaded gasoline or does it have to run on premium unleaded and could this be a factor?
