when i start engine im fine but when i turn ignition off the engine keeps running. back ground information is...car has sat for 10 years without being started. i pulled alt. wires to stop engine with ignition off but power was still running to dash as if ignition was still on. after pulling battery cables off and then reattatching battery cables ignition seemed to be off until i would try to start engine again and i would have to repeat above sequence!!! can you help diagnose problem?
