replace dryer compresor orifis the system will hold 30inches vacuum but still wont cool. i put a new compressor on and used 134a refrigerant with this new compressor thinking all are upgrade 134a.

Does the compressor come on?
Is the dryer and pipes going to the evap getting cold?
Is the pipe before the orifice tube getting warm?
What are your low side and high side pressures?
How much 134 did you put in?

And why are you working on the AC in December :)
