1964 Chevy Corvette noises in chassis

1964 Chevy Corvette V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

my 1964 corvette makes a poping noise sometimes when i shift or brake hard usually in left rear of the car or front right sometimes.
it sounds like its coming from the chassis but i am not shure ? any clues on what or where this noise is comming from.

Jack up the car by putting the jack under the lower control arms and check for wheel movement,grab the tire and try to shake it,you may have a bad ball joint,In the rear check the spring mounts at the wheels the bushings may be shot for tranverse spring,also check the u-joints on the axles.GoodLuck,Lou
