1994 Chevy Corsica Fuel Pump Replacement

My car has been put on a diagnostic machine. It came back with starving for fuel as the problem. I have changed the fuel filter and there has been very little improvement. I am now going to attempt to change the fuel pump. It is my understanding that it is located inside the gas tank. I am interested in any instruction on how to complete the replacement. I just a month a go replaced the gas tank on my 88 Beretta, and it took about four hours. Drain the tank, undo the gas tank straps all the way around front to back unless you have a high lift where you can swing the straps straight down if you do that just undo the rear most straps support the tank. But before you do any of these steps disconnect all the tubings.( filler neck, gas in line,gas return line and the vent line). I almost guarantee that all these tubes will bend and break on you so chances are you will have to buy a new sending unit witch has all these steel tubes welded on. It cost me 180$ for the sending unit without the pump.Overall it an easy procedure , just take your time and before you start pulling out parts study them so that you can see what goes where and what is connected to what
