I recently replaced my timing chain in my corsica to save $$. I did exactly what my Chiltons guide told me to do had the marks on the gears at 12:00 but after i got it all back together i have problems with it idleing. I can start the car and i can feather the gas pedal and it will stay running but as soon as i let off the gas it sies. I checked my spark plug wires with the picture given to me in the book and they all seem to be in order. I know that this is not an interference engine so i know that it did not mess up my valves i hope no back firing or anything like that. Could this be the computer because my cars timing was off. If the chain was on and i moved it out of top dead center while having the timing marks lined up would that cause no idle or whats up please get back to me.

It sounds like you have a vacum line off some where. If not then the idle control sensor is bad or unhoocked.
