IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR I PURCHASES A 2005 CHEVY COBALT WITH 42,700 MILES ON IT. IN AUGUST THE ENGINE BLEW UP THEY REPLACED THE ENGINE BUT TEN MINUTES AFTER DRIVING OUT OF LOT THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT WENT ON, RETURNED IT AND THEY SAID THE OXYGEN SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, I JUST GOT THE CAR BACK AND THE LIGHT WENT ON AGAIN NOW THEY ARE SAYING THAT THE PCM HAD TO BE REPLACED AND ARE CHARGING ME FOR IT. IS THIS CAUSED BY THE ENGINE BLOWING UP TO BEGIN WITH?

Where did you purchase it? I don't want to shop there.
The PCM could fail with or without help from man. If man (inferior tech) or other biological being caused it, I'm sure you could never get a confession. Only God knows for sure. Pay the bill and hope their warranty is better than the lemon they sold you.
