2006 Chevy Cobalt recall fuel pump

I took car in for fuel pump recall and now it runs like a lawn mower, still burning gas, and has no power and shakes when in nuetral. Chevy dealership says cadalliac converter, but i have to pay, i didn't have this problem when i brought it in. and they didn't touch anything else.
