2006 Chevy Cobalt Heated Seats

The Passenger side works, the drivers side doesn't as of this morning. Both Switches still light up properly and the fuse is not blown. This car has not had any issues since i bought it 3 years ago. Dealership will fix it for $400 - $1200 they said after a $120 diagnostic.
What can i do to try to fix this ?
Can the seat heater control module be switched from the working passenger side? If so what am i looking for ?

no u cant switch the one side to the other more then likely u have what is called a open in one of the heating elements that stick to the top of the foam seat cushion meaning the elements are suppose to be all connected and a hole has gotten into it.its usually the one the upper cushion.hopes this helps.
