2005 Chevy Cobalt 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

How do you fill the automatic transaxle with the correct amount of fluid? I lost an unknown amount of fluid when working on the radiator. There's no dipstick or method to fill from the top of the engine compartment that I can see.

In most cases the fluid can be checked using a dipstick and this guide shows how to do this.

However, on your vehicle the transmission does not have a dipstick, instead there is a plug in the side of the unit that you remove and basically fill the unit until the fluid runs out.

This is a bit confusing, so we need run through the complete process that I attached below.
